Dump It There
My beautiful Miami weather is finally back! Yay! Let the blue birds sing!
It was a lovely 75 degrees all day today. I even busted out a tank top. It was greatness.
Nothing interesting going on here. School is great - I really love all my classes. They're so interesting.
Look at my first spatial analysis assignment! I created a GIS map to determine what would be an acceptable dump site, 1.5 miles offshore, within the New York/New Jersey Harbour. The areas in dark green are the sites that I think are acceptable to create a dump site based on the amount of organisms living there (low number) and the size of the sediment (large, gravelly like sediment that won't move too much). And I'm sure this is only interesting to me and any other dorks out there! :^P
It only took 4 hours! I'm kidding. It took 4 class days (~4 hours) to learn everything and get it all done. But then there was a bug in mine, and I had to erase everything and start from scratch. Surprisingly, the redo only took me 30 minutes. I was very impressed with my newly acquired skills.
Sad to say, this is probably the most exciting thing that will happen to me all week! What has my life become?

I think that is VERY impressive!! And you should indeed be very proud of yourself, what a lot of work. I would have no idea how to do that.
Ugh, we were in the 70s and now having rain all weekend & next week.

No, you're not reaching. We did get engaged. I'm still writing up the post for it. Hopefully it'll be up by the end of next week. (I've written it in here again for I wasn't sure if you still check your notes over at D-land.)

But of course! I'd never forget our 5 or so more years together. I'm as loyal as they come so you'll hear from me.....
