Oh Yeah
So I come today bearing news: I got into grad school! Woohoo!
All my tuition is waived, for this year at least. And I received an $14K assistantship for 20 hours a week. I'm very excited.
I'm not so much looking forward to tests and papers and the like, but I love learning and I'm looking forward to doing great research and hopefully getting to do most of that research out in the field, maybe somewhere cool or exotic.
I was beaming when I got the letter Thursday night. It feels like I'm finally getting my life on track, or the track that I've envisioned for myself. I have no idea where exactly that track is leading to, but at least I'm on it now, and I'm fully prepared to ride it out.
Other than that, the only other excitement is that my summer program starts tomorrow! Six weeks of teenagers and hormones. It should be fun, but jumping from 28 students last summer to 60 this summer will surely be interesting.
I've had a very boooooring weekend. Friday night, I did nothing. Saturday day, I bought supplies for work. Saturday night, I ate cheescake, watched bad cable movies, and did more work for work. Today, I did more work for work.
I really need to get a life sometime soon. I think I'm bordering on pathetic.

Did nothing all weekend? Some might say that about mine but I hacked in the satellite and watched Playboy TV. Oh, it is soooooooo good! Forget that regular TV because this is what I've always wanted in a channel, fun sex! The reality shows? Make regular TV look so boring. Congrats on grad school. Now, we need to get you laid. Every. Day.

Hope you can get some time to yourself though soon!! xoxoxo

Congratulations! That's so exciting! I'm glad everything worked out, I know how annoying it can be to contact professors and do all the paperwork and crap...but it's done!
PS. Thanks for your support on the AGS thing - I'll keep you updated.
